• NKDA demarcates more stretches as fee parking zones in New Town

  • KOLKATA: The New Town Kolkata Development Authority (NKDA) on Thursday further demarcated five stretches in New Town as 'fee parking zones'.

    The fee or paid parking zones have been demarcated on the stretches infront of Fintech hub on Street no 372, on Street no 299 opposite to CNCI, beside the PHE water treatment plant on Street no 51 and 55, at the vacant space beside the clock tower and food truck zone, behind of La Artisan and on the north side of service road of MAR 1111.

    It has been categorically mentioned that no parking shall be allowed within five meters of street crossings and that parking should be made in accordance with traffic rules and as guided by the police as well as NKDA officials.

    NKDA is also further extending the system to introduce digital parking management and fee collection systems at the 'fee parking zones' in different locations in New Town.
