Peace conference focus on solidarity campaign for Gaza

Kolkata: All India Peace and Solidarity Organisation (AIPSO) on Sunday organized the fourth edition of its daylong state conference in Kolkata and appealed for peace across the globe.
The focus of the conference was on starting a campaign for peace and solidarity for the war-affected Palestine. The conference was formally inaugurated by Samik Bandyopadhyay.
Several speakers and peace activists condemned the escalation of the war on Gaza, Palestine, by Israel.
After the conference, a new committee was formed to make a widespread campaign against it and raise voices to protest against the escalating war on Gaza, Palestine and to appeal for immediate restoration of peace.
Presently, AIPSO has its organization in 14 districts. Members from Howrah, Hooghly, North 24 Parganas, Nadia, Darjeeling and other districts participated.
