• Kolkata design students shine in All-India competition, set for grand recognition at Taj Mumbai

  • Five design students hailing from Kolkata have emerged victorious in the East zone of a prestigious all-India competition organised by Society Interiors & Design. The competition, renowned for its rigorous evaluation process, has bestowed accolades upon these talented individuals across three categories: residential design, commercial design, and product design.

    Eshaa Himmatsinghka excelled in commercial design, Ishika Khaitan showcased brilliance in residential design, while Kamaleswar Suthar from J D Birla Institute, along with Tanaya Pal and Chaitali Ray from Perfect Institute, secured coveted awards in product design.

    The upcoming award ceremony, slated to take place at the esteemed Taj Hotel in Santacruz, Mumbai, serves as a fitting tribute to the dedication and creativity of these young designers. This recognition not only celebrates the individual achievements of the students but also underscores the commitment of their respective institutions in nurturing and fostering design talent.

    The competition, known for its esteemed panel of judges and stringent evaluation process, provides a platform for emerging talents to showcase their innovative designs and ideas.
