Kolkata: Students of Sir Gurudas Mahavidyalaya (College) in Muraripukur gheraoed the Maniktala PS on Monday and submitted a memorandum alleging that a local club was blocking the access to the college’s main gate by erecting a Saraswati Puja pandal illegally.
The cops have promised to look into their allegations. The students will conduct the puja on the college premises Saraswati Puja.Claiming that they would face difficulty in bringing the idol to the college , the students wanted the pandal to be removed. The KMC had served a notice to the club. TNN
