Suvendu Adhikari and Brinda Karat stopped from visiting Sandeshkhali

Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari, armed with a court order, was stopped at Dhamakhali on his latest attempt to reach Bengal’s latest political hotspot Sandeshkhali on Tuesday,
This is Adhikari's third attempt to visit the North 24-Parganas island which has been on the boil since January 5.
“If they go to the division bench, if the court orders me to come back I will return. I don’t know if they will move the division bench, I am saying what I have heard. But if there is no stay from the division bench, I am stopped illegally by the police, despite the court order, I will knock on the doors of Justice Kaushik Chanda,” said Adhikari, moments before leaving for Sandeshkhali, with five other BJP lawmakers from Nizam Palace.
“No government can act so blatantly. Why can’t the police find Sheikh Shahjahan?” asked Brinda, referring to the primce accused who is still on the run.
