Kolkata: Hare Street Police, investigating the alleged financial irregularities by Krishna Damani, secretary-cum-treasurer of South Point School governing council, has recorded the statement of Damani’s family member.
Cops informed the same to court and stated there are a few areas where more clarifications will be needed regarding the everyday running of Pastille Mercantile Pvt Ltd.This family member is a director of this firm where Damani is an important signatory. Documents submitted have revealed a total of 16 companies where Damani was a director. Cops have written to the auditor of South Point and income tax department for more leads. TNN
