KOLKATA: Six examinees were barred from this year's Higher Secondary examinations on Wednesday as they were caught with smart phones in the exam halls.
West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary president Chiranjib Bhattacharya said: "Today, there were exams of four subjects - physics, accountancy, nutrition and education - and they went well. However, we have received six complaints where examinees used smart phones inside the halls.As per our norms, their entire exams have been cancelled." Amongst these six, one examinee was from Kolkata.
