Man hurls 6-month-old son on floor after tiff with wife, held

Kolkata: A man was arrested from Posta for allegedly throwing his six-month-old son in a fit of rage after he had an argument with his wife. Police said the incident was reported on Thursday night from Cotton Street area on Thursday night.
According to police, accused Biswanath Sharma, an employee at a wholesale grocery shop, had returned home in an inebriated condition when he had an argument with his wife.The accused lost his cool and began to shout. When his wife tried to protest, he misbehaved with her. “The accused reportedly snatched the sleeping child from his mother and threw him down. Neighbours rushed the child to hospital where he is said to be serious but stable so far. Based on a complaint from Sharma’s wife, he was arrested.TNN
