The official had moved the HC challenging a notice by the police to appear before the investigating officer in connection with the FIR filed at the Sandeshkhali police station.

Suman Dey, the host of ‘Ghanta Khanek Sange Suman’ and a senior vice-president of ABP Ananda, was booked based on a complaint filed by Sub-Inspector Mohammad Monaim Hassan on February 17. The case was filed against him under Sections 153 and 505 of the Indian Penal Code.
