Sandeshkhali case: TMC leader Shajahan Sheikh sent to 10-day police custody

NEW DELHI: TMC leader and Sandeshkhali chief accused Shajahan Sheikh was on Thursday sent to 10-day police custody by a court in Basirhat.
West Bengal police had requested a 14-day custody of Sheikh.
The TMC strongman was earlier arrested by the police from a house in North 24 Parganas, where he was hiding. He was on the run for over 50 days.
