Kolkata: A 24-year-old pillion rider lost his life and the rider is stated to be critical after their bike crashed into the median divider on EM Bypass around 11.30 pm on Wednesday near Science City.
The pillion rider, Sahid Khan, and rider Subhendu Mondal (28) were rushed to SSKM Hospital where Khan was declared dead around 1 am on Thursday. Both were not wearing helmets when they left their residences at West Chowbaga for a joy ride, said cops.The exact reason behind the accident is still not clear, said cops. TNN
