Kolkata: A 30-year-old Behala resident, Sangeeta Chakraborty, died on Saturday night after a stone-landen truck at Biswa Bangla gate in New Town hit the bike she was riding pillion. Sangeeta was thrown to the ground and was crushed under a wheel of the truck.
In the morning, another two-wheeler rider, Rahul Das, from Parnasree, was injured as an auto collided with him near Behala Blind School.Around 12.25pm, a Sankrail resident, Arun Sadhani (64) was injured as the two-wheeler he was riding on Rashbehari Avenue. He has been admitted to AMRI Mukundapur. tnn
