  • Kolkata: A 17-year-old student, who had appeared for his ISC exams from a reputable south Kolkata school, allegedly hanged himself in an abandoned building in Gholsapur Rail Colony in Behala.

    Cops said he might have taken the extreme step early on Monday when he reportedly went missing. The railway quarters, where he was found hanging, is close to the teenager’s residence on Kedarnath Chatterjee Road.His father owns a cable business in the Port and Behala area.

    “The deceased was found around 6pm on March 12, hanging from the ceiling in an abandoned building,” said DC (Behala) Saumya Roy. TNN
