A search is on for another accused, a police officer said. “The two accused admitted to the crime during interrogation,” claimed the officer. The arrested accused were produced in a court that sent them to police custody till March 22. The woman was sent for a medical examination, police said. According to the police, the woman and the accused knew each other and she accompanied them for tea on March 10. She alleged the three accused raped her in an empty, stationary vehicle, police said. A senior officer in the intelligence department of the Kolkata Police said, “The vehicle has been seized and a forensic examination of it will be done.”
