Election Commission to announce Lok Sabha polls schedule on March 16

The Election Commission of India said on Friday that it will announce the dates for the upcoming Lok Sabha election tomorrow in Delhi’s Vigyan Bhawan at 3 pm. The press conference will go live on social media platforms of the ECI.The Model Code of Conduct will come into effect immediately following the announcement is made.The schedule for Lok Sabha polls were announced on March 10 that held in seven phases beginning April 11. The results were announced on May 23.
