Usha Uthup feted for Padma award at city club in Kolkata

Usha Uthup performed at Calcutta Cricket and Football Club (CCFC) on Saturday. The Padma Bhusan awardee was felicitated with a plaque to congratulate her on receiving the third-highest civilian award in India. The singer treated the audience to a melodious musical evening. Uthup was also conferred with a lifetime membership of the city club. The singer was seen her signature avatar sporting a large bindi and sari along with flowers in her hair.

The singer received Padma award on January 26.In an interaction with us earlier regarding this honour, she has said how she wishes that she can inspire people to work hard.
