Rohit Sharma becomes first cricketer worldwide to score two centuries in IPL

Indian national cricket team (men) Rohit Sharma has created history on Sunday after he became the first cricketer in the world to have scored two centuries in the ongoing IPL season for Mumbai Indians (MI). The 36-year-old right-handed batter made this achievement against Chennai Super Kings at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. Rohit, who is associated with MI since 2011, faced 63 balls, with 11 fours and five sixes and delivered an extraordinary performance till 105 runs. He made his first century in the IPL for MI during 2012 season against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens. Only Chris Gayle (1056), Kieron Pollard (860), Andre Russell (678), and Colin Munro (548) have scored sixes more than him.
