Kolkata: BJP Kolkata North candidate Tapas Roy has filed a complaint with CEC Rajiv Kumar and CEO Aariz Aftab, alleging he was attacked by TMC goons during a rally on Sunday. He felt the attack was planned on the instructions of MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay and Shreya Pande, convener of the Maniktala assembly constituency.
“A group of 50-70 Trinamool goons stormed into our Jana Sanjog procession, shouting slogans with black flags.They were protesting for elections not being held in Maniktala upon which, I have no say,” Roy wrote.
