PC Chandra Group conferred the PC Chandra Puraskaar upon India’s acclaimed space scientist S Somanath, the leader behind India’s triumphant success of Chandrayaan-3 mission, which is the country’s biggest and most recent achievement in space science. This was the 31st annual national award ceremony that took place in Kolkata’s Science City Auditorium in the presence of distinguished personalities including Shri A.K. Chandra, Managing Director, P.C. Chandra Group and Shri. Amitava Chandra, Deputy Managing Director, P.C.Chandra Jewellers, Shri. Udipto Chandra, Director, P.C. Chandra Jewellers.Under the remarkable leadership of S Somanath, Chandrayaan-3 mission was a significant achievement in space technology by a successful soft landing of Vikram lander in the South Pole of the Moon.
