• Lok Sabha elections 2024 full schedule: Darjeeling to vote in phase 2 on April 26

  • The Election Commission of India (EC) on March 16 announced the dates the voting and result declaration dates for the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

    The polls will be held in 7 phases from April 19 to June 1, covering a total of 543 constituencies.

    Darjeeling Lok Sabha elections: Date

    Parliamentary elections in Darjeeling will take place on April 26 (Phase 2), with results declared by June 4.

    Candidates

    Several key contenders are vying for the Darjeeling constituency, including Raju Bista from the BJP, Munish Tamang representing the INC, Gopal Lama standing for the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC).
