Kunal on TMC list of star campaigners for 7th phase

Kolkata: Trinamool has inducted Kunal Ghosh on its list of star campaigners for the seventh phase of elections. Ghosh’s inclusion came as a surprise, given his recent disagreements with the party. Ghosh was TMC’s observer for East Midnapore, which goes to polls on May 25.
TMC published the list of star campaigners for the seventh phase. The list contains 40 names, including Ghosh, who was earlier dropped from the fifth and sixth phase lists.
Ghosh, who spoke out of tune with the party line a few days back, was also seen sharing the stage with BJP candidate Tapas Ray at a blood donation camp in north Kolkata.This led to disciplinary action against him, resulting in his removal from the post of state secretary. Despite the recent tensions, Ghosh remained committed to the party. “I am a soldier of the party. Whenever the team gives me a job, I am ready to do that job,” he said.
