Kolkata: The CISCE on Wednesday informed schools that ICSE and ISC would have 25% marks — up from the current 15% — based on analytical questions from next year. The CBSE board has already increased it to 40%. According to CISCE chief executive and secretary Joseph Emmanuel, the council was developing resource materials to promote competency-based questions for schools to use in their internal assessments.School principals said this will help board students to score high. tnn
