Gujarat girl, who scored 99% in 10th boards, dies of brain haemorrhage

A 16-year-old from Gujarat’s Morbi, who was one of the toppers in Class 10th board examinations with 99.70 percent, died of brain haemorrhage on Wednesday.The teenager, named Heer Ghetiya, underwent a brain surgery at a private hospital in Rajkot a month ago. She was discharged following the operation suffered breathing troubles and heart-related issues around last week.She was kept at the ICU in the hospital and an MRI report revealed that 80 to 90 percent of her brain function had ceased. She died after her heart stopped functioning. Soon after her untimely demise, her parents decided to donate her eyes and other body parts.
