• Three bikers, pedestrian hurt in three accidents

  • Kolkata: Four persons were injured in three separate road accidents in different parts of the city on Saturday.

    At around 10.05 am, a 34-year old resident of Tarulia, Kestopur, who was riding a scooter and a 30-year old pillion rider were injured when their two-wheeler somehow skidded off the carriageway on the western flank of the Maa flyover near the Topsia cut out.Both of them were rushed to a nearby hospital where they were treated and discharged after necessary treatment. Both of them were wearing helmets.

    In the other bike accident, a 36-year old resident of PK Mukherjee Road received multiple injuries after an auto rickshaw dashed his bike on APC Roy Road near Khanna crossing at around 9.50pm on Friday. The injured biker was undergoing treatment at a local nursing home.

    In another road accident around 9.30pm on Friday, a 35-year old resident of Canal East Road was injured when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle on Aurobindo Setu. He received multiple injuries and was admitted at the trauma observation ward of RG Kar Hospital.
