Bangaon (SC) Lok Sabha constituency, which is one of the 42 parliamentary constituencies in West Bengal, is currently represented by BJP's Shantanu Thakur. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Thakur emerged victorious with an impressive 48.85% of the votes, defeating Mamata Thakur of AITC by a substantial margin of 687,622 votes.
