  • Kolkata: Three students from Bengal have scored 720 out of 720 in NEET-UG, which places them at all-India rank 1, along with 67 other students, reports Poulami Roy. NTA announced the results on Monday. As many as 1,02,557 Bengal students took the test and 59,053 have qualified.

    Arghadeep Dutta, of Kolkata’s Hindu School, was ranked 9th in HS and had expected a good score.He wants to pursue neuromedicine at AIIMS-Delhi. Aakash helped him a lot to prepare for NEET, he said.

    Rupayan Mandal of Nawab Bahadur’s Institution, Murshidabad, said Covid had motivated him to become a doctor. He wants to study surgery.

    The third, Saksham Agarwal, studied at Siliguri’s Nirmaan Vidya Jyoti School. “My inspiration is my father, a doctor. My area of interest is surgery.”
