  • As the vote counting for the Lok Saba elections is underway, numbers indicate that the state presidents of all three Opposition parties in West Bengal – Congress and CPI(M), BJP are in trouble as per the latest reports.

    In Baharampur, West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee (WBPCC) president Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury is trailing by a margin of over 31,000 votes against cricketer-turned Trinamool Congress’ Yusuf Pathan. The five-time Congress MP and party’s leader in Lok Sabha is currently in the second position.
