Kolkata: A 72-year-old retired bank employee, a Dhakuria resident, allegedly jumped to death from the terrace of a six-storey apartment at Baranagar on Sunday morning. Police said the victim, identified as Manas Das, was a resident of Selimpur Lane. He was reportedly suffering from depression and used to visit his relative’s flat in Baranagar under ward 33.“He had a history of leaving home without telling anyone and losing his way back,” a kin said. tnn
