South Bengal districts, Kolkata receive mild rainfall today

Multiple parts of Kolkata finally received light rainfall on Thursday afternoon, giving some respite from scorching weather. Although rainfall has stopped, cloudy weather prevails.
Additionally, according to the weather office’s forecast at 12 noon, light to moderate rain along with thundershowers is likely in some areas of Howrah, Hooghly, north and south 24 Parganas, East Midnapore and adjoining areas.
With the landfall of rains, the Meteorological Department is expecting the entry of rainfall in south Bengal in the next two to three days.
