Kolkata: Cops allegedly beat up a patient’s family with sticks at a govt-run city hospital on Sunday after an altercation with a nurse when the patient’s hand swelled after an injection. The patient’s relatives lodged a complaint with the hospital’s MSVP. Cops received a counter-complaint from the hospital. A probe is on. Police sources denied the allegation raised by the complainants.Cops are checking CCTV footage to know what exactly had happened.
