Kolkata sees no rainfall, inclement weather condition continues in North Bengal

In the midst of monsoons, scorching sun and high humidity continue to batter Kolkata and other parts of south Bengal. However, the weather body forecasted light rainfall across multiple districts of south Bengal.
Mild downpour is likely in all districts of South Bengal, including Kolkata on Monday. Additionally, heavy rainfall is expected in East and West Midnapore, Jhargram, Purulia, Bankura, West Burdwan and East Burdwan and Birbhum, Murshidabad. There will be no significant change in the weather despite rainfall till Wednesday. From Thursday, the rainfall will intensify again in South Bengal.
Meanwhile, scattered showers are expected in North Bengal’s Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar and Jalpaiguri districts. North Dinajpur is also under the radar of heavy rainfall. From Wednesday, the amount and extent of rain will increase again in North Bengal.
