A 39-year-old JCO of the Army was held Friday after a Bengali actor alleged that he abused her and tried to outrage her modesty after a road rage episode in Kolkata's Lake Avenue area, reports Dwaipayan Ghosh. The actor, who lives in Anandapur, said she was in her car, driving through Lake Avenue near Southern Avenue when her car grazed the bike of the JCO, M I Arasan.The JCO allegedly tried to stop the actor's car, claiming it hit him. The actor initially didn't respond, but he intercepted her car near a cafe, entered a heated argument with her and broke her car's windshield. Police arrested him and a case was registered under BNS Sections 126(1), 74, 79, 324 (2) and 351 (1). The JCO denied the charge and filed a counter-complaint against her for 'hitting him with her vehicle'.
