Kolkata: North Bengal Medical College has debarred four junior doctors — Saheen Sarkar; a house staff; Soham Mondal; an intern; and Nilabjo Ghosh; an RMO; from the medical college and Avik De from entering the college premises and participating in activities of the institute pending enquiry of threat allegations by the four to other students and resident doctors.
While De has been pointed out by the medical fraternity as one of the core members of ‘North Bengal lobby’, sources said the other three had been operating in close nexus with him. De has already been suspended by the health department. tnn
