Goldsmith hires biker to snatch gold chains

Cops said Gopal had carried out at least three snatchings around Sinthee and may have been involved in snatchings in the Cossipore area in the run up to pujas and during the festival. All the victims said the snatchers came on a bike and that the incidents occurred on deserted roads. The three complaints filed at Sinthi PS were for theft of necklaces weighing 14 g, 24 g and 25 g.
Based on CCTV footage, cops traced the bike and arrested Imran, which led to the arrest of Gopal. The necklaces were recovered.
