123 Kolkata: The West Bengal Junior Doctors' Front has planned a health camp and mass gathering on Feb 9, the birthday of the RG Kar victim. Feb 9 also marks the sixth month since the heinous crime. The chest medicine PGT was found murdered on Aug 9 last year.
The junior doctors will run the Abhaya Clinic, a health camp, at the Sodepur Mahendranagar Development Committee ground. The 31-year-old was a resident of Sodepur. The WBJDF started Abhaya Clinics during their cease-work protest. In the evening, they will gather in front of the ‘cry of the hour' statue on the R G Kar Medical College campus. They said the gathering was to express their anguish as their colleague is yet to get justice. tnn
